Office Assistant

Location : Bladen, NE

Reports to : Admin Manager
Salary range : $11-15/hr

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to answer and direct phone traffic as well as to assist office and sales staff with order processing.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and transfer calls in a professional manner
  • Interact with customers on the phone, via email and in person
  • Print, process, and ship small mix orders from the SmartStore
  • Assist bookkeeper and office lead with paperwork and filing as directed
  • Assist sales staff with order processing as needed
  • Assist office lead in organizing booth material and scheduling during conference season
  • Track shipments and follow up with customers on shipping progress
  • Data entry
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualification & Physical Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen or authorized worker
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to Lift 50lbs
  • Able to work with all levels of staff
  • Attention to detail
  • A high level of computer skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to be well organized
  • Written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions

Sitting at a desk in the office and working on a computer for long periods of time.
